• Soft scrub sponge / brush / pumice stone
• Moisturizer
• Lavender oil (optional)
• 4-5 liters of warm water in a bucket (that your feet will fit in)
• 3 tablespoons of baking soda

Directions: Start by pouring baking soda into a bucket and stir around in water until the baking soda is dissolved fully. You can also add in lavender oil, which will deliver a sweet and calming smell to calm your nerves after a long day. Then, soak your feet in the warm mixture for 15-20 minutes.

After soaking your feet, use a scrub brush, pumice stone or sponge to rub the bottom of your feet to rid of dry skin. After scrubbing, apply a thin coat of moisturizer ( one with a high amount of glycerin) or coconut oil to your feet. Put on socks to help lock in the moisture. When done before bedtime, wear the socks all night to retain moisture.

This process can be done 1-2 times a week and shortly after, once or twice a month in the winter time. If you want, you can add baking soda in water to make a paste to exfoliate your foot skin before scrubbing with a sponge or brush.
