Purslane is commonly misktaken for a weed. In actual fact, it is actually a health-boosting super-food that many people grow for their own consumption. 

Purslane or Portulaca oleracea is a pretty plant with light yellow flowers. It origins are thought to be in India and Persia, but literally colonised the planet and spread all over the world.
