You’ve perhaps seen Epsom salts recommend previously, especially if you suffer from joint pain. Did you know, however, that there are far more natural medicinal uses for Epsom salt?

Epsom salts were first discovered near Epsom, England in 1680 – thus the name – and have been in regular use ever since. 

Naturally occurring, the salt is also a great source of magnesium and sulfates, both of which can have tremendous health benefits.

  1. Bathroom Cleaner: An equal parts mixture of Epsom salt and liquid soap can do wonders for removing grime in every part of your bathroom.

  3. Face Scrub: Adding a little bit of Epsom salt to your regular face cream can make an immediate difference – simply massage it in with circular motions, then rinse with warm water a few minutes later.
  4. Foot Scrub: For smooth, soft, comfortable feet, we recommend making a scrub with Castile soap, Epsom salt, and olive oil. Use twice a week and see a difference immediately!
  5. Garden Fertilizer: Simply adding a single teaspoon of Epsom salt (be careful not to overdo it) to your soil can work wonders, especially for fruits.
