Are You Making Sure That Your Body is Absorbing Turmeric Properly? Here's How:

By now you likely know just how amazing turmeric is - but did you know that some ways of ingesting it are more efficient for absorption than others?


It's true - depending on how you consume turmeric, you may or may not be getting the full benefits that turmeric can offer.



And those benefits sure are plentiful - it's: 


  • antibacterial
  • antifungal
  • anti-inflammatory
  • and anti-viral


This means it can protect your body against Alzheimer's, cancer, chronic pain, dementia, depression, heart disease, and more!

So you want to get the full benefits?


And you can - if you keep in mind that turmeric is fat-soluble, meaning that without fats, it isn't as readily absorbed by your body and taken into your bloodstream. All that means? Make sure you include some fat with your turmeric.

That can mean using coconut oil or ghee when you're cooking, or coconut milk or coconut oil when making a drink, or any number of other things - as long as you're getting good, healthy fats.

If you're taking it as part of a supplement, simply make sure to eat something with good fats at the same time - some avocado, maybe, or even a spoonful of a good nut butter. Just make sure it's a good, healthy fat.

And one last tip that can help: 

Black pepper is also proven to help with the bioavailability of turmeric, so sprinkle some black pepper on or in whatever you're eating or drinking to get that fat, and your body will appreciate the turmeric even more!
