How to Make Delicious Lavender Lemonade to Relieve Migraines, Headaches, Anxiety and More!


We've almost all had problems with anxiety, and long-term anxiety is the third most common mental health issue in the world today. 

While some doctors may prescribe medication in the form of pharmaceuticals, we're big fans of this natural remedy - a super tasty lavender lemonade!




This remedy works because of the many great benefits of lavender, especially in lavender oil, long one of our favorites.

Consider all of the following amazing benefits of lavender oil, for instance:

  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Anti-fungal
  • Antidepressant
  • Antiseptic
  • Antibacterial
  • Antimicrobial
  • Antispasmodic
  • Analgesic
  • Detoxifier
  • Hypotensive
  • Sedative properties

Just as incredible, researchers have found that lavender oil can reduce depression, improve insomnia, and ease pain.

You can take advantage of all of these great medicinal properties in a tasty way, courtesy this lavender lemonade recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 c raw honey
  • 5 c pure water
  • 1/4 c dried lavender - or 1 drop lavender essential oil
  • 6 lemons, peeled and juiced approx.
  • Lavender sprigs for garnish

Preparation

  • Pour 1/2 the water in a pan, bring to boil and remove from heat
  • Add honey and dried lavender let steep for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Strain mixture and pour into larger container.
  • Add lemon juice and the remaining water.  Stir well.
  • Refrigerate to keep!
