A Renewed Spirit and Health are Just a Few Drops away: Essential Oils Guide

We all head to our nearest drugstore or our doctor when we are feeling ill and need medical care. Essential oils could be the answer to your ills and pains as well as your skin! Just one drop can do the trick and it will perform miracles. Having essential oils in your medicine cabinet will help to keep you from being completely dependent on pharmaceuticals.

MORE THAN JUST SMELL

Essential oils are filled with healing benefits that have a molecular structure designed to enter skin easily and fast, which makes healing start immediately as it is quickly available. Some research has proven that some essential oils can lower blood pressure, give an energy boost, and relax you, as it affects the central nervous system.

HOW TO USE

It is suggested you inhale hot water steam for the face, use a hot compress or diffuser.

The method requires 10 drops which will help relieve stress, sinus issues, colds, and headaches. This is a wonderful healing combination that will put you at ease, and within the comfort of your own home.

Add in 8 drops of essential oil with soothing salts, 3/4 cup of sesame or coconut oil to your bathwater. Without it, the oils wouldn’t mix evenly. This mix is great for skin problems, respiratory health, sleep issues, circulatory health, muscle aches, relaxation, and sleeping problems.

Having a relaxing massage with 2.5% concentrated level of essential oils is another way to help alleviate stress and tension in the muscles.

Palm inhalation has to be used with oils that are skin-friendly. Apply two drops of a antimicrobial healing oil between two palms and breathe in to relieve sinus congestion and stress.

HOW TO BUY

It isn’t easy to determine if an oil is fake as it is applying it.

Ring test

Apply a single drop of the purchased oil on printer paper allow it to dry. If an oily ring remains, it isn’t pure. There is a few oils that are an exception: dark, heavy oils like patchouli, sandalwood and vetiver.

Check its label

Be attentive and look at the labels on the bottle to see if it has the oils latin name.

Note the packaging

Pure, essential oils have strong compounds that can practically break down plastic. Essential oils in glass with an amber or dark color are much more protected from uv light that weakens the oil.

Go organic

Always purchase organic oils that are USDA organic sealed, or have “wild-crafted” on the labeling.
