Aerial Spraying of Naled Returned Last Week to Miami Using Same Dangerous Neurotoxin With a Name Change!

If you reside in South Dade, then you had most likely smelt or felt the spray of naled last night.

Despite the Zika epidemic never really being in the area, the government is still profiting off of last summer’s scare.

To fight off salt marsh mosquitoes (have been known not to carry tropical diseases or Zika) or to help citizens get adjusted to spraying for Zika, the county of Miami-Dade sent planes over large areas of Florida City, Homestead, the Redland, South Miami-Dade and Cutler Bay.

If you are shocked from not knowing this, its due to the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Management brought in planes,“…after sundown, planes would dispense the pesticide Dibrom over the affected area, weather permitting.”

The County’s statement refuses to explain what Dibrom is, so many residents believed it to be a new chemical. This is new given the fact that thousands upon thousands of bees died off last summer, and how many people fell ill after inhaling the toxin spray.

Naled and Dibrom are exactly similar.

Over the years, we have used both names in our news releases - Gayle Love, a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Mosquito Control, says.
In this instance, I used ‘Dibrom’ when I prepared the release. Dibrom — also known as naled — is the insecticide we have used successfully for the past 40 years to address the black salt marsh mosquitoes. We reference both names in our online fact sheet, which describes the insecticides used in our Mosquito Control program.

If you reside in the spray zone, keep yourself indoors and seal up all doors and windows. Do not leave your pets outside while the spraying is going on. Bring your children’s toys inside and cover any outdoor sets for kids. If you are unable to, just wash off the insecticide before they play on them.

The article further explains:

“Naled belongs to a family of pesticides called “organophosphates,” which have been linked to a host of human ills for the past half-century."

In fact, multiple studies have linked farmworkers who’ve been exposed to organophosphates with slower brain functioning and poor psychomotor function. According to PBS, other studies have linked the pesticide group to brain tumors, liver damage, leukemia, and birth defects.”

Remember, our government that we elect by choice, doesn’t give a hoot about any of you or me. With the full authorization of naled use in the US, despite having knowledge that it is toxic, even while it is banned in all of Europe.
