1. Turmeric Juice Shot

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 in turmeric root or 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Sea salt
  • 1/2 lemon

Preparation:
Juice the turmeric and lemon, then add the salt. Enjoy!

2. Golden Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 c almond or coconut milk
  • 1/4 c of water
  • 1 tsp fresh grated or turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp fresh grated or ginger powder
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • dash cardamom
  • dash cinnamon
  • dash clove
  • 2 tsp honey

Preparation:

  • Simmer all ingredients for roughly 1 minute, then let cool and drink. Enjoy!

3. Turmeric Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp fresh grated turmeric
  • raw honey
  • black pepper
  • 1 c hot water
  • lime, to taste

Preparation:

  • Boil water, add turmeric, let simmer 5 minutes.
  • Strain, then add other ingredients to preferred taste. Enjoy!

4. Turmeric Scramble

Add turmeric to your morning eggs!

5. Turmeric Soup

Ingredients:

  • 4 c broth, bone or veggie
  • 1 knuckle chopped or grated turmeric
  • black pepper, optional

Preparation:

  • Simmer turmeric and broth for 15 minutes, strain.
  • Add black pepper or other seasoning to taste.

6. Turmeric Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 1/2 c frozen mango or pineapple
  • 1/2 c almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 tsp fresh or powdered turmeric
  • 1 tsp hemp seed hearts
  • 1 tsp maca root
  • dash black pepper

Preparation:

  • Put all the ingredients in a blender, and blend them well! Enjoy!

7. Turmeric Kefir

Add a tsp turmeric to your kefir, and enjoy!
