10 Year Study Links Diet Soda To THESE Deadly Diseases!
Few things are better marketed than diet soda. Why do we say that? Because few things could be worse for you - and yet somehow Americans believe it's a healthier option!
A study at the University of Iowa, led by Dr. Ankur Vyas, just proves exactly what we mean. The study, over nearly 10 years and involving almost 60,000 participants, was designed to pinpoint aspartame's effects.
Two or more diet sodas, they found, increases your risk of cardiovascular catastrophe by 30% - and your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease by an even worse 50%. This includes accounting for other health concerns, such as age, BMI, and so forth.
Given that 1 in 5 Americans drinks at least one soda daily, why isn't this an insurance risk factor?
Aspartame is nasty stuff, linked to cardiovascular damage, obesity, depression, and a whole lot more:
- Abdominal pain
- Difficulty managing diabetes
- Personality changes
