Doesn’t it sound weird to include avocado with your chocolate pudding? 

Well, it may seem weird but it is incredibly healthy for you. It’s easy to make and so scrumptious! 

Avocados Can Balance Hormones, Boost Metabolism, and Fight Disease

Avocados have some plant sterols, like beta-sitosteral, that are found to contain antiestrogenic properties. That makes them able to block off the estrogen receptors within our cells and lower estrogen absorption.

With that, it increases testosterone levels in men and progesterone levels in women. They also are great for anti-aging treatment as it has anti-aging components within its skin and oil. 

Even scientists are discovering that avocados are able to inject themselves into body cells, enter mitochondria and turn on its own energy production, which permits cells to be stable and still ward off harmful pathogens. When it comes to fighting bacteria, the mitochondria has the most imperative role. Being the top energy producer from nutrients, it can also have a bad side as they create damaging chemicals that cause harm to the mitochondria and many various cellular parts.

...Avocado oil causes accelerated respiration in mitochondria, which indicates that the use of nutrients for producing energy for cell functions remains effective even in cells attacked by free radicals and that mitochondria can produce little amounts of damaging free radicals.

They are a great source of the amino acid lecithin, which helps in the prevention of overexertion of the liver, while maintaining body weight and improving the brains functions.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder 
  • 3 large avocado, soft and ripe
  • 3-6 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

Combine together avocado, cacao powder, coconut milk, vanilla, coconut oil and honey into a blender. Blend high for 1 minute or until smooth.

Refrigerate for about 30 minutes
