The #1 Filthiest Fish Restaurants Are Passing Off as "Trendy"

By now you probably now that many doctors and nutritionists recommend we eat more fish, but what you may not know is that some of those fish are straight-up garbage. We're here to tell you more!

In particular, you should stay away from tilapia, which may be worse for some people than eating bacon.

Researchers at Wake Forest note that tilapia is one of the most heavily consumed fish - which would be great, except that tilapia is garbage for you, in that it barely contains any omega-3 fatty acids (the ones you want) and contains really high levels of omega-6 fatty acids (the ones you should avoid).

You can do better. Avoid tilapia - but eat plenty of good seafood - and you'll be well on your way to a much healthier diet.
