LaVena Johnson: Raped and Murdered By Her Colleagues On a Military Base In Iraq

LaVena Johnson was a soldier enlisted in the Army in 2003. LaVena was the first woman to die in Iraq from Missouri.

It’s shocking what happened to her, and you will find it hard to believe.

She was found within her tent with a gunshot to the head, a black eye, broken nose, acid burns on her genitals, loose teeth, and a trail of blood outside of her tent.

What is even more appalling is that our Department of Defense had deemed it a suicide.

The autopsy report along with the photographs prove her death wasn’t fit for a suicide case, and was more of a rape-murder. The U.S. Criminal Investigative Command for the Army is mainly concerned that the case is closed altogether.

The father of the victim was very investigative when he found his daughters body in the funeral home with the wounds etc.

First, the Department of the Army had refused to give information, until the Freedom of Information Act after the death of Pat Tillman. In 2010, there was a documentary made to reveal the hidden truth behind her gruesome death, named LaVena Johnson: The Silent Truth.
