If you're like us, you probably already know you spend too much time on your phone - but maybe this will help you cut back. Do you know how the light of your phone affects your brain and body?
More and more research is coming out that shows that smartphones and the light of other electronics can disrupt your body's melatonin levels, disturbing your sleep, as your brain confuses electronic light and sunlight.
The effect is worst for teenagers, but it's bad for all of us, which is why experts recommend no electronics for at least an hour or two before going to bed.
But, there's more: our smartphones are also a health concern because of electromagnetic radiation, which can be a cancer risk.
And, as you can see from the infographic above, that's not all - our phones are bad for us in lots and lots of ways.
So be careful with your phone! And, if you're like us, maybe you'll make a plan that will help you cut back on your electronics usage!
