If there is pressure in the slightest bit on a lumbar nerve root, it will cause pain within the sciatic nerve. 



For an example, A herniated disk, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, or any vertebrae abnormality can put tension on the nerve. 

Sciatica is leg weakness, pain, tingling or numbing sensation, which starts in the lower back, through the buttocks and down into your sciatic nerve in the back of one leg. The pain is consistent and chronic, that it makes certain movements very difficult to perform. Sciatic pain worsens gradually overnight after long periods of standing and sitting; sneezing, coughing or stress. 






Here Are 2 Simple Exercises that Can Help You Get Rid of Your Sciatica:


We will present you with simple stretches that are helpful in the reduction of inflammation and pain.


Starting out, you will find it hard since you must practice the exercises slowly, and increase the stretches while breathing out. First, lie down on the floor, and bend your aching leg. 

After, pull it slightly towards your shoulder. Once you have felt the stretch, stay in position for a half-minute. Lastly, straighten your legs out for a brief break. Make sure you do this exercise twice a day.




The other exercise requires you to lay on your back, and bend your knees. 

After, pull your knee towards your chest slowly, and be sure to not raise the buttocks from the floor. Then, cross your legs and pull your healthy leg with your hand. Stay in this position for 30 seconds, let go of your leg and return to the beginning position. Do this in two repetitions. 




Also, bear in mind that with the practice of these stretching exercises, you will be able to improve your blood circulation and eliminate muscle stagnation. Through these exercises, you will relieve your pain and speed up the recovery process.
