BREAKING: Live Stream Cut Off As Authorities Spray DAPL Protesters With Water Cannons in Below Freezing Temps

The reports from the North Dakota Access Pipeline have become increasingly violent, with the most recent reporting of the police using water cannons, concussion grenades, tear gas, and rubber bullets on protestors who are trapped on a bridge near Cannon Ball.

Heavily armed police in riot gear trapped water protectors on a bridge and began using forceful methods against them. According to reports from the scene, the protestors were attacked with gas cannisters, which they kicked away from them to avoid being poisoned by the gas, some of which started small fires at the side of the road. Witnesses then say that the water protectors (not the police) tried to put out the flames, and it was then that police struck.

The protestors were trapped on the bridge, and police began shooting water cannons at them, with the temperature outside only being around 26 degrees, making the danger of hypothermia and frostbite a real possibility..

The only media that has been able to report this is a Facebook Live video filmed by Kevin Gilbertt, as the internet near the site has been shut down to avoid the mass media being able to report on the story properly. It was Gilbert who reported that it was the protestors who tried their best to put out the fires, and not the authorities.

Gilbert also reported that he saw the water protectors on the site earlier in the day trying to clear away damaged police vehicles. He has said that the protestor trapped on the bridge are so tightly packed they cannot leave without trampling each other, and have been forced to breathe in the toxic gasses.

It seems that the brutality of the police far outweighs the situation, and daily we hear these reports getting worse. The police don't want you to know about these events, and so it is extra important that you share this story with your friends and family to get the word out there.
