The compound found in cabbage, sulfophane has also been shown to protect cells from cancer. Many studies have shown that the cruciferous vegetables, including cabbage, are effective in fighting cancer.

Cabbage will also help you in the fight against the following diseases: liver, breast, ovary or lungs cancer as well as other types of this disease, hangovers, chronic coughing, arthritis, inflammations, anemia, stomach ulcers.

What is also very important is that cabbage is helpful for losing weight, it boosts the metabolism, eases the problems with constipation and prevents the sugar into fat conversion.

Recipe:


Here is a quick and easy recipe to incorporate cabbage juice into your diet:

  • A juicer
  • Knife
  • Warm water
  • One middle-sized cabbage
  • A little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)







Directions:


Soak the cabbage in warm water and add a little of the apple cider vinegar. Chop off the stem with a knife and cut the cabbage into two halves. One half can be saved for later, and the other half placed in the juicer. Juice the cabbage until it is at a drinking consistency, pour and enjoy!


There is no restriction of the daily amount of the cabbage juice that you can drink, however too much may cause uncomfortable bloating and intestinal gas, because of this we recommend one cabbage a day. 

You can divide it into 2, as in the recipe, and drink the first half in the morning and the second one in the evening.
