Fix Chronic Health Issues With THESE Sleeping Positions!

If you are unfortunate enough to suffer from conditions such as sleep apnea, plantar fasciitis or acid reflux then the chances are that you're pretty fed up when it comes to getting a good nights sleep!

 


Did you know that these specific issues can actually be fully treated by changing just one simple thing?


Guess what? That’s exactly what we're about to tell you! By changing your sleeping positions you can begin to rid yourself of the chronic pain that you may be experiencing.




1. Shoulder Pain


Obviously, you should avoid sleeping on the shoulder that’s giving you pain If you choose to sleep on the other side, place a large pillow at your chest level and rest your arm on it.

2. Neck Pain


Keep your neck level! Ditch the pillow under your head! Instead, take a rolled up towel and place it under your neck.

3. Back Pain


If you suffer from spinal stenosis, sleeping in the fetal position with a pillow between your knees can be of great help. Sleeping on your stomach isn't recommended or ideal but if you really feel the need to, place a pillow under your pelvis to relieve strain.

If you prefer to sleep on your back, place a pillow under your knees and put a rolled towel under the small of your back.

4. Plantar Fasciitis


If you’ve got foot pain caused by an inflamed plantar fasciitis, make sure your feet and ankles are in a relaxed position. Also, don’t tuck your sheets in too tightly at the end of your bed.
 

5. Acid Reflux


Acid reflux can be a real pain! Make sure you sleep on the left side of your body. 

The left side of your body houses your lymphatic system. When you sleep on this side, it helps with proper settling of stomach acids.
 

6. Sleep Apnea

Sleep Apnea is accompanied with symptoms such as snoring and trouble breathing while asleep, make sure you’re resting on your side. This will keep your tongue and tissues from obstructing your pipes!

Avoid rolling onto your back by placing a  pillow behind you as you sleep.

And don't forget to lose the pillow! It is a major cause of all the health issues listed above!
